Zombie Chase Halloween Workout

Hey y’all!

I did the following workouts with my HIIT class at the YMCA, so I wanted to share them with you, too. If you are looking for some more depth for your day, check out my Don’t Make This Scary Health Mistake post during your cool-down. Enjoy!

Before you do the Zombie chase workout below, do this as your training so you don’t get caught by a Zombie! Do at least two rounds, preferably 3. This entire workout including the Zombie chase will take you about 40 minutes to complete. You’ll need a set of heavy weights for the flys and deadlifts, with a medium weight for the thriller walks and plank scare crows.

This one is super fun! I got the idea from this pin, but the source is no longer a website, so I’m sorry I can’t give you the full credit, fightingforwellness.com!

All you need is your own bodyweight, an interval timer, and your imagination. Or you can actually sign up for a Zombie Race. I usually don’t use fear for fitness motivation, but this is way more fun than scary, so I’d still call it Moving for Joy.
